1. OVERALLSUMMARY
This roleis within Financial Control is responsible for leading all aspects ofaccounting, financial and management reporting function including corporatemanagement, statutory and tax compliance of the Company and entities within theGroup.
2. AREASOF RESPONSIBILITY
1 Oversea the accountingand preparation of financial and management reports in accordance with localGAAP and group accounting standards (IFRS).
2 Ensure accurateand timely submission of monthly reports and financial statements to holdingcompany for group reporting and consolidation
3 Provide financial forecast,annual budgets analysis, and risk assessment to group and management fordecision making.
4 Manage the accountingfunction and system for accounts payables, accounts receivables, cashmanagement and general ledger.
5 Evaluate and enhancefinancial systems, processes and ERP tools to improve accounting procedures andefficiency.
6 Ensure full compliance withstatutory reporting, accounting standards, audit and tax regulatoryrequirements.
7 Ensure robust internal controls tosafeguard company assets and risk management.
8 Lead and mentor the accountingteam for performance growth and ensure adherence to internal control andreporting timelines.
9 Manage cross-functionalcollaboration with holding company to ensure alignment of financial objectiveswith business operations
10 Liaise with auditors, taxagent, company law matter team and regulatory bodies for compliance.
11 Lead and perform any ad-hocassignments with internal and external stakeholders
3. QUALIFICATION/ EXPERIENCE
Chartered Accountant (A) or Master’s degree inFinance/Accounting
Minimum8 years of experience in financial management, with at least 3 years in aleadership role
Strongunderstanding of accounting standards (IFRS)
Hands-onexperience in financial and management reporting and analytics
Strongpreference for prior experience in ERP process
4. Knowledge and Skills
Strongcommunication and interpersonal skills
Strongpreference for experience in improving a finance function and controls
Experiencein managing or supervising an accounting team
Goodknowledge of direct and indirect tax compliance matters
